A Case of neurogenic atrial fibrillation

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of neurogenic atrial fibrillation observed in 39 years f man is presented.
The patient visited the clinic because of insomnia, restlessness, dyspnea and tachycardia. And he had a history of repeated suffering mental stress which used to precipitate such symptoms. During the attack the electrocardiogram showed undulating P waves and rapid auricular beats. Administration of Digoxin and tranquilizers in bed rest improved the clinical signs.
